Cheryse McLeod Lewis Performs Her Solo Show For the Seattle Opera BRAVO Club Spring Concert

Saturday, March 23, 2019

Come check out Seattle Opera's new home! Mezzo-soprano and Seattle Opera chorister Cheryse McLeod Lewis sings highlights from her solo show, "Then Sings My Soul," in Seattle Opera's beautiful glass box performance space, Tagney Jones Hall. Audiences may recognize her as Annie from Seattle Opera's 2018 Porgy and Bess, Cinderella's Stepmother in Village Theatre's 2017 Into the Woods, and all across Seattle as the Bess model in our poster art. Ms. Lewis also understudied and sang the role of Bess numerous times in the first national Broadway tour of The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess. This uplifting evening of American music features spirituals, musical theatre, jazz, and art song. Open to all ages. Two drink tickets included for guests 21+. Buy tickets at or at the door.
